We believe in the ONE true and Living God, biblically expressed and known to us through the Godhead, as the Father, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. While this Tri-Unity nature is a mystery to us in this life, we should not deny the biblical expression of The Father, The Son Jesus, or the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Son Jesus, are co-equal expressions of the one true and living God.
We believe the Bible attests, both in the old and the new testaments, that God is ONE, and that Jesus himself, attests that God is One.
We believe the bible communicates these truths, to help us wrap our natural mind around this supernatural Tri-Unity of God.
Father, Spirit, Son
We believe the eternally existent expression of the Father is the source of all things, including Love and Life. The expressions of the Holy Spirit and the Son proceed forth from the Father.
We believe the Holy Spirit is the eternally existent expression, and manifest Spirit, of God, and moves in and over the lives of men & women, with the sanctifying Power and the Nature of God. The Holy Spirit draws men and women unto Salvation in Jesus Christ, and continues to empower and sanctify them following Salvation.
We believe Jesus is the true and living eternally existent expression of God. He is the visible image of the Invisible God (which essentially means, He is the Face of God to man). It is in Jesus, our Lord, by which, and through which, we have authority, power, salvation, and hope. He is the name upon which men & women call for deliverance, for help, and for salvation.
The Word of God
We believe the Word of God is eternally existent, Living, and Powerful. It is a mirror and a judge. It measures and discerns the hearts and the thoughts of Man. Jesus is, and always has been, the express Word of God. The Word of God is quickened in the hearts and minds of men and women, by the Holy Spirit of God.
We believe the Word of God was delivered to man in written form by the inspiration and oversight of God, for the instruction, protection, and correction of man. It is Holy. It is absolute Truth. It is eternal. It is the final authority in all matters pertaining to life and truth.
We believe every person is created by God, in the image of God. We believe that every life is precious. We believe that human life begins at the moment of conception. We believe all life comes from God..
Jesus - Birth, Death, Burial, Ressurection
We believe Jesus is God, come to the earth, born of a virgin, taking on the form of a man ( for a season ), living a pure and righteous life, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Jesus literally and completely died a physical death upon a cross, for the atonement of the sins of man ( which means that He paid for our sins in full ).
We believe the physical body of Jesus was literally laid in a tomb, dead and buried.
We believe Jesus Christ physically, not metaphorically or symbolically, rose from that tomb, and appeared to women and men, in a resurrected and glorified body. Because was raised to New Life, so to can we be raised from death into a New Life.
We believe Jesus ascended to Heaven, after a season of revealing Himself to men and women, and walking with them. They touched Him, ate with Him, and learned from Him. He ascended to Heaven as God, and not merely as a man. He is not a man, He is God. He came as God, and returned as God. He was, is, and always shall be God.
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only through Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
Rom 6:23; Eph 2:8,9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5; Gal 3:26; Rom 5:1; Rom 10:9-10
Salvation is God’s free gift to us thru Jesus, and while we believe works can never produce salvation in us, we are also confident genuine salvation, once obtained, produces transformation in us and good works through us.
We believe every born again believer should seek to be water baptized. We believe the biblically consistent model for water baptism is immersion. We believe the act of water baptism should be the result of a personal decision to publically and decisively identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Water baptism is a public declaration of a life surrendered to Christ.
Holy Spirit Baptism
We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a free gift from God, available to every truly born again believer who desires it. We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is NOT necessary for Salvation, but for those who do genuinely receive it, the Baptism consistently produces a radical and immediate transformation, as well as a manifestation of increased freedom. Spiritual understanding and awareness consistently and immediately increase and grow exponentially for those who continue to seek and walk in the Spirit.
We believe the biblically consistent initial evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
We believe there is no scriptural or biblical evidence, in context, that the gift of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit has ceased to be available to believers today.
We believe in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, to accomplish the work of ministry, and to Glorify God. We do not believe the gifts are given to glorify man, but to Glorify God, and to bring souls unto salvation.
We believe there is no scriptural or biblical evidence, in context, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit have ceased to be available to, or to operate in the lives of, believers today.
Heaven and Hell
We believe people were created by God and will exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is Heaven. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence. John 3:16; John 14:17; Rom 6:23; Rom 8:17-18; Rev 20:15; 1 Cor. 2:7-9
We believe the bible is clear, both the unrepentant ( the Lost ) and those born again in Jesus Christ will be judged. Those in Jesus will enter heaven, but will still give account for their words and deeds
We believe marriage is a covenant instituted by God, between one man and one woman for the purposes of God. God’s plan was, and is, for one man and one woman to be married for life, till death separates them. Sex was given to men and women, but only to be shared with their individual spouse in the confinement of their marriage, after marriage, and with no one else. Neither marriage, nor sex, should be a source of abuse, shame, or mistreatment. It should be a source of joy and intimacy between a man and a woman. We believe a man is someone who was born a man, as was first identified and listed on their original certificate of birth. We believe a woman is someone who was born a woman, as was first identified and listed on their original certificate of birth.
We believe all believers are called to be a part of a local community of believers, for the purposes of relationship, love, worship, learning, correction, and service.
We believe we are one body in Christ, called to one immersion ( baptism ) in body, and are to be of one Spirit. We are to support the body locally and at large in the World. We believe the Lord is pleased with unity among believers, and displeased with petty differences that divide us, and hinder His work.
We believe we are called to go forth into the World and to share the Love of God and our faith, and to teach others to do the same.
Local Chruch Oversight
We believe God appoints Overseers for the church. There are shepherds, and under-shepherds, all of which are under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. In addition to the Five Offices of Eph 4:11, God appoints leaders and laborers to assist the shepherds with the work of the ministry. God is a God of order. He creates and defines authority structures for decision making, teaching, and safety, to protect His children and His church.
We believe the Senior Pastors ( the Overseers ) have the final authority in the local church as to rule and government, and the interpretation of Holy scripture as the Holy Spirit of God gives guidance. We believe the shepherds will give account to God, for the decisions made, and the results of those decisions.
We believe one day, known only to God, Jesus Christ will physically return to the earth.
We believe at a future moment in time all believers who have died will return with the Lord in the air, and Christians who are alive will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord forever.
We believe in The Millennial Reign of Christ when Jesus returns with His saints at His second coming and begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1,000 years. This millennial reign will also bring the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace.
We believe a final judgement will take place for all who have rejected Jesus Christ. They will be sent to the eternal lake of fire. This will be the result of their choice. It not God’s desire for anyone to perish in this way.
We believe God will establish a new heaven and a new earth. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on Earth. ‘And so shall we forever be with the Lord!’
